Preventa deuterium-depleted drinking water products were developed on the base of HYD\u2019s propriatory procedure, deuterium depletion. The world-first product family of Preventa is protected by international trademarks. Preventa drinking water products contain 15 to 84% less deuterium (125 to 25 ppm) than the natural level. The extent of reduction is by far higher than the natural fluctuation of deuterium content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1999
The first two products \u2013 Preventa-105 and Preventa-85 drinking waters with reduced deuterium content \u2013 were licensed by the Budapest Veterinary Health and Food Control Station in 1999, based on expert opinion of Fodor J\u00f3zsef National Centre of Public Health, Institute of Environmental Health, and standpoints of the National Institute for Food and Nutrition Science and the National Chief Medical Officer\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sale Preventa-105 and Preventa-85 drinking waters started in Hungary, first of all in pharmacies and in shops selling health products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2001
By exporting Preventa products to Japan, HYD LLC appeared on the international arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2003
A new product, Preventa-125, was added to the product family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2005
Preventa deuterium-depleted drinking water, developed by HYD, won the first prize at the international innovation contest \u201cNew Foods\u201d. The jury especially emphasized the importance of the research and the products based on deuterium-depleted water in health preservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In sports medicinal studies, the effect of Preventa-105 on the performance of athletes was investigated. The participants, members of the men\u2019s national rowing team, showed better performance, faster regeneration, and more stamina on physical load in the test. Results of the study were published in Sportorvosi Szemle\/Hungarian Review of Sports Medicine, 46\/1 .27-38 (2005).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preventa-45 was brought to the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2014
Appearance of the Preventa product family has been renewed. New product design and up-to-date packaging materials meet the highest demands of the consumers. The product family \u2013 now of 6 members: Preventa 125, Preventa 105, Preventa 85, Preventa 65, Preventa 45, Preventa 25 \u2013 are since then disributed in individually designed bottles with self adhesive foil labels. Distinction of Preventa products with different deuterium contents is facilitated by individual color coding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2016
The product family of Preventa deuterium-depleted drinking waters gained in 2016 the title MagyarBrands in the category of excellent consumer brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Export of Preventa products to China commenced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2020
Preventa oyster mushroom capsules \u2212 the first deuterium-depleted dietary supplement \u2212 were registered by the The National Institute of Pharmacy and Nutrition (notification no.: 24917\/2020). Preventa deuterium-depleted oyster mushroom extract is the only 100% natural product of oyster mushrooms that is produced in cultivation using water with reduced deuterium content of 85 ppm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
